Course description
The aim of the PhD week is to make freshman PhD candidates aware of the importance of the professional skills such as presentation techniques, scientific writing, project management, science ethics, ... in the research arena.
Moreover this week aims at network formation within the VLAG PhD community, and getting insight into the wide spectrum of scientific research being carried out within the Graduate School.

Fee
For VLAG PhD candidates registered at Wageningen University the course fee is subsidized by the graduate school and amounts to € 375. This includes course fee and full board (lodging, coffee/tea, three breakfasts, four lunches and three dinners).
Cancellation condition
VLAG cancellation conditions apply. Until four weeks before the start of the course, you can cancel free of charge.
Exemption from payment:
- In case of replacement (which you may propose, in this case please inform the course coordinator) you will not be charged.
- If you have a valid reason to cancel, due to circumstances beyond your control. In this case a written statement of the supervisor/superior is required.
